UV Masks for Acid Strip, Plating, and Anodizing
Hoenle UV masking materials are engineered to withstand extended immersion in heated acid baths, degreasers, chemical strippers, and plating solutions. They deliver consistent edge‑to‑edge protection and help reduce rework and scrap.

Peelable Masks for Easy Removal
Most Hoenle masks for acid strip, plating, and anodizing are peel‑removable. Peeling works at room temperature, but a short hot‑water dip or hot‑air exposure increases elasticity and speeds removal.
High‑Adhesion Masks for Maximum Protection
For demanding processes, Hoenle offers super‑high‑adhesion plating masks. These are best removed by incineration, making them suitable for high‑temperature components such as landing gear, turbine blades, vanes, stators, and nozzles.
Clean Incineration After Processing
After stripping or plating, these masks can be burned off at 900°F–1200°F. Incineration can often be combined with existing heat‑treat steps, leaving surfaces residue‑free and ready for further processing.
Multiple Viscosities and Color Options
Masks are available in several viscosities for dipping, spraying, or manual syringe application. Color additives provide improved visibility during application and removal.
Support for Product Selection
